Maximum Living Bourbon Sauce

A bourbon sauce that’s great on bread pudding and ice cream… or just eat it from the spoon, YUM!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat then whisk in remaining ingredients. Make sure to continuously stir to keep it from burning.
  2. Once all ingredients are dissolved, turn down heat to simmer until mixture is thickened. Continue to stir for about 2-3 minutes and serve.

A very simple topping that gives a wow kick of taste! And always remember, you can do it!
