Maximum Living Bourbon Sauce
A bourbon sauce that’s great on bread pudding and ice cream… or just eat it from the spoon, YUM!
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat then whisk in remaining ingredients. Make sure to continuously stir to keep it from burning.
- Once all ingredients are dissolved, turn down heat to simmer until mixture is thickened. Continue to stir for about 2-3 minutes and serve.
A very simple topping that gives a wow kick of taste! And always remember, you can do it!
